White Cap is hiring immediately for a Lead Rental Yard Associate in Colorado. You’ll lead daily yard operations, supervise associates, and ensure equipment is ready for customers in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

• 7+ years of experience in rental/related operations.
• Experience leading and training associates.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and asset control.

Responsabilidades

• Audit documentation, timesheets, checklists, receiving records and repair/maintenance logs.
• Establishes and maintains a written maintenance schedule.
• Oversees service, repair, and rebuild of equipment as necessary.
• Ensure rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer.
• Inspect equipment for damage on return and report per procedure.
• Perform weekly/monthly inventories and track losses.
• Open/close rental yard, authorize refunds, and handle customer issues.
• Oversee forklift maintenance and daily pre-operation checks.
• Administer safety training and oversee associates' performance.

• Audits all required documentation, timesheets, checklists, receiving records and repair order and maintenance logs.
• Establishes and maintains a written maintenance schedule.
• Oversees the service, repair and/or rebuild of equipment as necessary.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer. Inspects all rental equipment for damage when it comes back from a customer and reports any damage according to established procedure.
• Performs weekly and monthly equipment rental inventories to ensure appropriate equipment inventories.
• Monitors equipment rental transactions to track lost or stolen equipment, including filing police and insurance reports as needed.
• Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment. Ensures the rental area and equipment is cleaned on a regular basis.
• Opens and closes the rental yard, authorizes refunds, and handles customer issues. Oversees forklift maintenance and daily completion of pre-operation checklist.
• Administers goals and training programs for associates to include safety training.
• Generally, has 7+ years of experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in rental equipment, construction, industrial, yard, or related operations, with knowledge of equipment inspection and maintenance practices
• Demonstrated experience leading, training, and supporting associates while coordinating daily yard or operational activities
• Experience inspecting equipment for damage, coordinating repairs, and maintaining equipment readiness and preventive maintenance schedules
• Strong knowledge of inventory and asset control processes, including cycle counts, transaction tracking, and maintaining accurate records
• Experience safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification preferred
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, including equipment inspections, PPE, and established safety procedures
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve rental, equipment, and operational issues effectively
• Familiarity with construction and industrial equipment and tools; bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus

Pay Range

$20.00-$28.00 Hourly
