TotalEnergies Renewables USA is seeking a Project Development Manager to lead utility-scale renewable energy projects through all development stages. You will integrate technical, permitting, environmental, interconnection, land, and stakeholder workstreams while aligning with portfolio strategy and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, Planning, Economics, Geography, Public Policy, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Typically 3–6+ years of renewable energy project development or related experience.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and leading consultant coordination.

Responsabilités

• Lead assigned utility-scale renewable energy or co-located projects through all phases of development; integrate cross-functional workstreams across technical, permitting, environmental, interconnection, real estate, and stakeholder functions.
• Manage land acquisition strategy and liaise with land agents, title companies, and internal teams to address ownership, encumbrances, and site control.
• Coordinate permitting, environmental diligence, and community engagement activities with internal and external experts; monitor milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate interconnection, engineering, and technical development activities; ensure schedules, risk plans, and deliverables reflect development strategy.
• Manage project budgets and development expenditures; support commercial negotiations, incentives, tax abatements, and economic development initiatives.
• Select, manage, and direct consultants; serve as external representative for assigned projects; oversee relationships with landowners, regulators, and public officials.
• Prepare project approvals and governance materials; communicate status, risks, and recommendations to management; present updates to leadership.
• Mentor Development Associates and Senior Development Associates; support onboarding and pipeline development.
