Job summary

NAVAIR in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a General Engineer (Reliability Centered Maintenance) to lead multi-disciplinary teams and guide in-service RCM activities for fleet readiness. The role requires continuous coordination with NAVAIR, depot, fleet and contractor personnel to implement, sustain, and guide RCM support activities.

You will perform advanced statistical analyses to determine maintenance tasks and deliver high-level technical decisions to fleet custodians.

Qualifications

• Experience with In-Service Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) support activities.
• Ability to perform advanced statistical analyses for maintenance decisions.
• Ability to develop engineering specifications and conduct trade-off studies balancing design, maintenance, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with NAVAIR, depot, fleet and contractors to implement RCM support activities.
• Perform advanced statistical analyses to determine preventive/corrective maintenance tasks and deliver engineering decisions to fleet custodians.
• Assemble and correlate engineering specifications for maintenance, producing trade-off studies balancing design, maintenance, and cost.
