GMRE seeks a Chief Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for engineering, software development, systems integration, and test execution on a NAVAIR contract. The role spans weapons integration, avionics, sensors, and simulators with direct leadership across IPTs.

You will own engineering rigor, software development plans, and V&V processes, while guiding the workforce and coordinating with NAWCWD leadership and customer reviews. Relocation may be available.

Qualificações

• MS/MA degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Software or closely related field.
• Experience as Chief Engineer or senior systems engineering leader on aircraft weapons integration contracts.
• Active DoD clearance (Secret/Top Secret) required or close to it, with RMF familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as senior technical authority for contract work and deliverables.
• Direct integration across weapons, avionics, sensors, targeting systems, hardware and software.
• Own software development plan, SQA/SCM, V&V across programs.
• Oversee lab/test equipment, telemetry and ground-based test activities.
• Lead engineering workforce development and cross-functional collaboration.
• Represent the prime contractor to NAWCWD leadership and customer reviews.
