Job summary

Eagle Systems, Inc. seeks a Reliability & Maintainability professional to develop and evaluate program plans for Naval Aviation aircraft and related systems. You will perform FMEA/FMECA, FDI, RBD analyses, and support MBSE/PHM initiatives in classified environments.

The role requires 4+ years in R&M or System Safety, a BS degree in a related field, and an active Top Secret clearance. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, aeronautics, or electronics.
• 4+ years of engineering (R&M or System Safety) experience.
• Active Top Secret DoD clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate R&M program plans and requirements for Naval Aviation aircraft and support systems.
• Perform R&M analyses to support predictions, allocations, risk assessments, and metrics development including FDI, testability analyses, FMEA/FMECA, and RBDs.
• Support PHM capabilities development and review ECPs for PHM impacts.
• Participate in Reliability Control Boards, Failure Review Boards, BIT Review Boards, and design improvement activities.
• Review OEM and supplier deliverables and analyze PHM data to inform reliability improvements.

Provides direct support to NAWCAD by developing and evaluating Reliability and Maintainability (R&M)program plans and requirements forNaval Aviationaircraft and support systems. PerformsR&M analyses to support predictions, allocations, risk assessments, and metrics/datadevelopment, including Fault Detection and Isolation (FDI), testability analyses, FMEA/FMECA, and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs). Supports the development and implementation of platform health management capabilities and reviews EngineeringChangeProposals (ECPs) to assess PHM impacts. Participates in Reliability Control Boards (RCBs), Failure Review Boards (FRBs), BIT Review Boards (BRBs), and software and hardware design improvementactivities. Reviews OEM and supplier deliverables, collects and analyzes on- and off-board PHM data, and supports FRACAS population and analysis to inform organic health management solutions and system reliability improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Requires a BS degreein engineering, physics, mathematics, aeronautics, or electronicsandat leastfour(4)years of engineering(R&M or System Safety related)experience.
• Excellentverbal and written communications skillsandthe ability to use Microsoft 365(i.e.,Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)arerequired.
• Musthave the abilityto Travel25%.
• Must have experience in DoD and/or NAVAIR programactivities.
• Must have anactiveTopSecret level DoD security clearanceandbe ableto work in Government classified spaces.
• Highly desired experience/knowledge areas:CBM+,Integrated Diagnostics, FRACAS, statistical methods, algorithm development,health management dataanalysis, drafting and developing health monitoring data processing procedures within classified and unclassified environments,MBSE/Cameo Systems Modeler/Digital engineering,and measuring/tracking reliability in Developmental and Operational Testing (DT/OT). Knowledgeable in IVHM/BIT and Reliability Development Growth Testing and understanding of early acquisition cycle (Milestone B through Milestone C)
• Salary range: $90K to $145K, negotiable.
