GMRE Inc. seeks a Chief Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority on a NAVAIR contract, leading engineering, software development, systems integration, and test execution across multiple platforms.

You will own engineering rigor, oversee SQA/SCM/V&V, and direct analysis, testing, and instrumentation efforts with DoD compliance. You will coordinate with aircraft IPTs, ensure security posture per DoD frameworks, and mentor engineering staff while guiding lifecycle milestones from

Qualifikationen

• MS/MA degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum 20 years aviation and management experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; Top Secret/SCI within 90 days.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the senior technical authority for contract work.
• Direct weapons, avionics, sensors, targeting systems integration across platforms.
• Own engineering rigor for system analysis, development, testing, and interoperability.
• Direct investigation of new or modified systems and related weapon systems.
• Direct software engineering and development for aircraft computers and test equipment.
• Own SQA, SCM, and V&V processes program-wide.
• Oversee test laboratories, instrumentation, and telemetry systems.
