Job summary

NAVAIR in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a General Engineer (Reliability Centered Maintenance) to lead multi-disciplinary teams and guide in-service RCM activities for fleet readiness. The role requires continuous coordination with NAVAIR, depot, fleet and contractor personnel to implement, sustain, and guide RCM support activities.

You will perform advanced statistical analyses to determine maintenance tasks and deliver high-level technical decisions to fleet custodians.

Job description

You will serve as a General Engineer (Reliability Centered Maintenance) in the FST Department/FST Engineering Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and maintain continuous coordination with NAVAIR, depot, fleet, and contractor personnel to implement, sustain, and guide In-Service Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) support activities.
• You will perform advanced statistical analysis to determine preventive/corrective maintenance tasks, deliver high-level technical decisions and engineering advice directly to fleet custodians.
• You will assemble, correlate, develop and engineering specifications concerning all aspects of maintenance, producing engineering trade-off studies in addition to balancing design, maintenance, and cost constraints.
