Job summary

First Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer IV in St. Louis to develop and maintain a client relationship portfolio for a defined market area.

You will independently manage a portfolio of $75–$100MM and lead other bankers while expanding new business opportunities. The role requires strong communication skills, deep knowledge of bank products, and the ability to present loan packages to Senior Management and Loan Committee.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to inquiries/requests from clients and prospects.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and boards of directors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a client relationship portfolio for the market area.
• Independently generate and manage a portfolio size between $75 to $100MM.
• Lead and provide guidance to other bankers within the group.
• Generate new business development opportunities.
• Prepare and supervise loan packages for Senior Management and Loan Committee.
• Ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy of loan documentation.
