Job summary

Western Dental/Brident Offices in Texas is seeking a Floor Supervisor to oversee back office staff, manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations while ensuring patient satisfaction and smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of dental equipment and OSHA compliance, and hold a current X-Ray license (or commit to obtaining within six months); the role offers competitive salaries, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team of 8-12 staff.
• Knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, OSHA and safety compliance.
• Must have a current X-Ray license (or obtain within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Supervise back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and accountability.
• Participate in the hiring, selection and retention for back office staff.
• Manage patient flow and ensure patient satisfaction in collaboration with Dentists.
• Monitor sterilization of the office and equipment.
• Maintain dental supplies and inventory; stock as needed in operatories and other areas.
• Lead, inspire and motivate back staff.
• Participate in monthly operational meetings.
• Prioritize Ultimate Patient Experience (UPE).

Responsibilities

• Supervise all back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and holding staff accountable
• Participate in the hiring, selection and retention for back office staff
• Responsible for Patient management by partnering with Dentists, providing patients with proper pre and post-treatment instructions and ensuring patient satisfaction
• Monitor patient flow by effectively reviewing sign in sheet and appointment book and making necessary adjustments to the schedule
• Responsible for ensuring sterilization of the office and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA, Dental Board, and Corporate policies and procedures
• Conduct all weekly/monthly/quarterly inspections
• Maintain dental supplies and inventory; stock supplies in operatories, restrooms, lab, etc. as needed
• Maintain proper patient treatment records
• Lead, inspire, and motivate back staff
• Participate in monthly operational meetings
• Prioritize UPE (Ultimate Patient Experience)
