Job summary

Western Dental/Brident Offices is seeking a Floor Supervisor in San Antonio to lead back-office staff, manage scheduling, training and performance, and partner with dentists to deliver excellent patient care.

The role focuses on patient flow, sterilization, compliance, and inventory, with opportunities for professional growth and a competitive benefits package for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and accountability
• Participate in hiring, selection and retention of back office staff
• Manage patient care by coordinating with Dentists, providing pre/post-treatment instructions and ensuring satisfaction
• Monitor patient flow via sign-in sheet and schedule adjustments
• Ensure sterilization of office and equipment
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Dental Board and Corporate policies
• Conduct regular inspections (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
• Maintain supplies and inventory in operatories, restrooms and lab
• Maintain patient treatment records
• Lead, motivate and develop back staff
• Participate in monthly operational meetings
• Prioritize Ultimate Patient Experience (UPE)

Responsibilities

• Supervise all back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and holding staff accountable
• Participate in the hiring, selection and retention for back office staff
• Responsible for Patient management by partnering with Dentists, providing patients with proper pre and post-treatment instructions and ensuring patient satisfaction
• Monitor patient flow by effectively reviewing sign in sheet and appointment book and making necessary adjustments to the schedule
• Responsible for ensuring sterilization of the office and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA, Dental Board, and Corporate policies and procedures
• Conduct all weekly/monthly/quarterly inspections
• Maintain dental supplies and inventory; stock supplies in operatories, restrooms, lab, etc. as needed
• Maintain proper patient treatment records
• Lead, inspire, and motivate back staff
• Participate in monthly operational meetings
• Prioritize UPE (Ultimate Patient Experience)
