Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Regional Environmental Audit Lead AMER for AWS Environmental to lead regional audits, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across global data center operations.

The role requires balancing risk, strategy, and practical delivery with strong communication to senior leadership. You will partner with Environmental, operations and site leadership to identify risks, implement plans, and monitor performance under ISO 14001 and related

Qualifications

5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
Experience in handling internal & external audits.
Experience performing and/or participating in technical assessments in direct support of a major compliance effort (e.g. ISO 14001)

Responsibilities

Leadership and commitment. Support the Environmental Audit program to evolve and meet changing organizational needs, stakeholder expectations, and environmental challenges, and securing necessary resources and support for continuous improvement.
Risk management and planning. Support ongoing identification and assessment of environmental risks identified through the audit program across AWS global operations.
Implementation and operation. Oversee the design and deployment of our Audit program to enhance environmental performance and ensure compliance with legal and other requirements.
Performance evaluation. Establish and manage a robust system for monitoring, measuring, and reporting performance of the Audit program.
Continual improvement. Drive ongoing enhancement of the Audit program through management reviews and corrective/preventive actions.
