Job summary

Amazon AWS seeks a Regional Environmental Audit Program Manager to lead the AMER regional audits for the AWS Environmental team, ensuring regulatory compliance and top-level environmental performance in data center operations.

The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and delivering strategic plans to balance short- and long-term risks while driving continuous environmental improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Experience handling internal & external audits.
• Experience performing and/or participating in technical assessments in direct support of a major compliance effort (e.g. ISO 14001).
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the Environmental Audit program to meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and assess environmental risks across AWS global operations and develop strategic plans.
• Support deployment and improvement of the Audit program to enhance environmental performance and compliance.
• Establish and manage a system for monitoring, measuring, and reporting audit performance.
• Drive continual improvement and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
