Job summary

Parkland Health in Dallas seeks a Senior Refrigeration Mechanic to lead the refrigeration team across the hospital system. You will inspect, repair, install and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment, ensuring safety and peak performance while mentoring other staff.

The role requires five years of refrigeration installation and service experience, EPA Type I/II certification, and a Texas Class C driver's license. Onsite daytime schedule, Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Five years of refrigeration installation and service experience.
• EPA certification for Refrigeration Transition and Recovery, Type I and II.
• Texas Class C Driver's License is required.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead Refrigeration team, schedule work and train staff.
• Repair and maintain hospital refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Install new air conditioning units, chillers and ice machines.
• Document work orders and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and Parkland standards.
