Job summary

Boston College Career Center seeks an energetic Assistant Director of Recruiting Programs to lead the employer engagement and recruiting operations on campus. You will manage the day-to-day systems, coordinate info sessions, interviews, and career fairs, and oversee event logistics in partnership with BC Event Management.

You will serve as the data lead for employer engagement, guiding staff on tracking, reporting, and using Handshake, while delegating tasks to a team and ensuring a welcoming

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Higher Education Admin, HR, Business or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in career services, university relations, corporate recruiting, or complex operations.
• Proficiency with Handshake and CRM data structures for reporting.
• Strong project management for multi-stakeholder events or large exhibitions.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the employer recruiting function and day-to-day systems and workflows.
• Coordinate virtual and in-person info sessions, interviews, and coffee chats.
• Centralize logistics for career fairs and networking events with Event Management.
• Lead data management and reporting for employer engagement using Handshake.
• Train and supervise staff and student workers to ensure smooth operations.
