Job summary

Babson College is seeking an Assistant Director of Career Advising to provide one-on-one and group career advising to undergraduates. You will collaborate with the Center for Career Development team to deliver developmentally appropriate guidance, critique resumes, coach LinkedIn, and conduct mock interviews.

You will work on workshops, connect with employers, alumni, and faculty, and help students craft targeted internship and full-time search strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent experience required.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience within corporate and/or higher education environments preferred.
• Familiarity with career development principles and practices.
• Comfort with web platforms (WebEx, Zoom, Teams) and delivering webinars.
• Ability to track, measure, and deliver value-added program results.
• Ability to work across programs and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation, marketing, and counseling skills.
• Customer service orientation and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Team player and adaptable to change.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group career advising to undergraduates and help develop job search strategies.
• Lead industry liaison activities and deliver connections to employers and alumni.
• Design and deliver workshops and programs for domestic and international job searches.
• Support resume critiques, LinkedIn guidance, and mock interviews.
• Collaborate with faculty, clubs, and CCD team to plan career topics and seminars.
