Job summary

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams. We're hiring a Lead Recruiter to own Director-level and above hiring across G&A and business functions, partnering with executives to identify leaders who will shape Ramp’s growth.

This is a hands-on role focused on research, assessment, and closing top talent. You will develop fluency in each area, translate business needs into hiring strategies, and build pipelines from scratch while navigating ambiguity and sensitive searches.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience leading complex senior-level searches.
• Ability to advise senior leaders and influence hiring decisions.
• Demonstrated fluency across unfamiliar functions and context-switching.
• High ownership and comfort with ambiguity; build pipelines from scratch.
• Strong closing skills handling offers and sensitive searches.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Director-level and above roles across G&A and business functions.
• Develop fluency in the supported functions and build context quickly to identify standout leaders.
• Build proactive pipelines via market research, targeted sourcing, referrals, and passive outreach.
• Develop assessment approaches to surface leadership effectiveness and Ramp-paced execution.
• Move across functions while maintaining a high bar for talent, execution, and candidate experience.
• Exercise discretion in sensitive searches and manage stakeholder communication with sound judgment.
