Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Lead Receiving Associate to manage inbound materials, verify shipments, and ensure proper put-away at our Florida facility.

You will guide daily dock workflow, collaborate with drivers and vendors, and support training while upholding strict safety and accuracy standards. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in warehouse or receiving roles, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift certification (or willingness to certify).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse or receiving experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to become certified).

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring shipments are verified and documented.
• Count, label, and tag incoming material accurately, keeping records aligned with purchase orders.
• Assist with put-away to ensure material is stored efficiently and clustered by project.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Serve as the first point of contact for drivers, carriers, and vendors during deliveries.
• Maintain data accuracy in the warehouse management system and report discrepancies.
• Keep the receiving dock clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Work closely with team members and support training of new associates on equipment and processes.
• Proactively flag damaged, missing, or incorrect material and help resolve issues quickly.
• Step in to support supervisor responsibilities during their absence.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
