Power Design is seeking a Lead Receiving Associate to keep goods moving on the dock. You will unload inbound material, count and verify shipments, label and put away items, and assist with daily workflow on the receiving dock.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment, serve as a go-to contact for drivers, and help train new associates while upholding safety and accuracy standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse or receiving experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to become certified).
• Ability to read and interpret long or complex part numbers.
• Intermediate computer skills (Outlook and Excel a plus).
• Strong math skills for counting and verifying material.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a team-first mindset.
• Friendly and helpful attitude, even when things get busy.
• Reliable transportation to get to work on time.
• Demonstrate and uphold Power Design's core values.

Responsabilités

• Unload inbound trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring shipments are verified and documented.
• Count, label, and tag incoming material accurately, keeping records aligned with purchase orders.
• Assist with put-away to ensure material is stored efficiently and clustered by project.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Serve as the first point of contact for drivers, carriers, and vendors during deliveries.
• Maintain data accuracy in the warehouse management system and report discrepancies.
• Keep the receiving dock clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Work closely with team members and support training of new associates on equipment and processes.
• Proactively flag damaged, missing, or incorrect material and help resolve issues quickly.
• Step in to support supervisor responsibilities during their absence.
