Job summary

Purple Innovation, LLC in Florida is hiring a Receiving Associate to manage the receiving process, inspect and unload products, and record data to support lean operations in our facility.

You will work with the warehouse manager and purchasing to ensure accurate stock, identify discrepancies, and maintain clean, organized receiving areas. The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of warehouse experience; forklift experience is a plus and this is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the receiving area.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps or labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to meet safety regulations.
• Determine proper storage methods, stock location, and identification.
• Keep records on usage and damage of stock and equipment.
• Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damage to supervisors.
• Transfer damaged or defective items to designated areas.
