Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in California is seeking a Lead Registered Dental Assistant to work closely with our dentist. You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist during procedures, take and develop X‑rays, educate patients on oral hygiene, and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications include an RDA license and CPR/BLS certification, with lead RDA experience preferred. Mon-Fri, competitive hourly pay, and benefits such as PTO, health/dental/vision, 401k, and telemedicine.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed.
