Job summary

Smile Brands is seeking a Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist and support the patient experience across the practice. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting during procedures, taking X-rays, and maintaining patient records with a strong emphasis on infection control.

Qualified applicants will hold an RDA license and CPR or BLS certification. Entry-level RDA positions are considered; comprehensive benefits and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR or BLS certification.
• RDA license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Assist with front office tasks such as scheduling and processing payments if needed.
