Job summary

Smile Brands is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist in a busy California dental office. You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist during procedures, take X-rays, and educate patients on oral hygiene. You will also maintain records, manage supplies, and support front desk duties when needed.

This is a Monday-Friday role based in California. Qualified candidates hold CPR or BLS certification and are a registered dental assistant.

Qualifications

• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Current Registered Dental Assistant credential required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure infection control protocols and safety regulations are followed.
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments.
