Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA in Newark is seeking a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support new staff, deliver ABA therapy, and ensure quality family-centered care. On-site at the Newark EI Center, you’ll collaborate with BCBA staff, manage classroom activities, and help with data collection and session documentation.

You will implement teaching procedures, monitor progress, and communicate with families while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is required.
• Detail-oriented in session notes and reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn Central Reach for ABA services.
• Maintain an active RBT certificate during tenure.
• BCBA student status is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy one-on-one or in group sessions to children with ASD.
• Implement goals designed by BCBAs including reinforcement and DTT.
• Collect accurate data and complete session notes per company policy.
• Convert sessions in Central Reach within 24 hours.
• Maintain classroom organization and schedule; prepare materials.
• Communicate with parents about supplies and progress.
