Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare seeks a Diagnostic Technologist Lead to perform quality control on radiology images, ensure accurate labeling, and coordinate workflow for timely image acquisition and reporting. The role acts as an on-site radiology resource after hours and collaborates with IS to optimize radiology systems.

Responsibilities include supervising patient flow, ensuring complete image packs for interpretation, and assisting other modalities.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology required.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience with healthcare information systems and Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical quality review of images in Diagnostic Radiology to ensure high quality and adequate diagnostic information.
• Verifies labeling and patient information during digital acquisition, transmission, and storage.
• Ensures all information with current images is present for radiologist interpretation.
• Coordinates Radiology workflow to facilitate image acquisition and results reporting.
