Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare seeks a Diagnostic Technologist to prepare patients and perform radiographic procedures per physician orders and manuals. You will produce quality images, review with Radiologists, and ensure safety and accurate documentation for billing and patient care.

The role includes supervising students, supporting cross-training, and maintaining equipment. ARRT certification or registry-eligibility, VA licensure, and BLS are required; three years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology; must pass exam within 1 year if eligible.
• Complete accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License required for outpatient facilities; BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Three years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and perform routine radiographic procedures per orders and protocol.
• Produce high quality images and present with comparisons for Radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain safety and infection control standards and PPE use.
• Supervise students and support radiology cross-train programs.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and accurate documentation for billing.
