Job summary

ORBIS Inc. is seeking a mid-level Project Engineer to support the RADIAC program for the U.S. Navy. This on-site role is based at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, VA, handling full lifecycle engineering for radiation detection instruments.

The role includes a two-month Lead Engineer Qualification Program; after qualification, you will lead a portfolio of portable and installed radiation detection equipment, air samplers, and dosimetry products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of three years in a technical role.
• U.S. citizen eligible for Secret clearance and travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition activities for the RADIAC program, including specs and test plans.
• Oversee lifecycle management for in-service radiac equipment, changes, and procedures.
• Provide direct technical support to customers and program stakeholders.
