Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support naval radar programs in an onsite role at our Woburn, MA facility. You will lead systems engineering, integration, and testing across hardware and software, collaborating across disciplines to solve complex problems.

Minimum five years in STEM fields and DoD radar or RF experience is preferred. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required. Expect travel and close coordination with external sites and customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems hardware, systems integration, or systems test.

Responsibilities

• Support missions with travel up to 50% to RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
• Develop and implement test plans and documentation for simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality and impact.
• Drive performance improvements and resolve system issues across functions.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for seamless integration and system functionality.
• Document integration plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
