Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a talented Principal Systems Engineer in MA to join the SE&TC Surface Radars & Sensors Center, supporting the SPY-6 family. You will define customer needs, architecture, requirements, and perform system analysis.

Travel ~5% and ability to base in MA facilities will be considered. The role requires strong communication skills to convey solutions to leadership and customers, with a focus on radar systems, software, and DoD integration.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with radar systems, software, hardware, requirements, integration, and/or test.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or equivalent tools and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts of operations for radar systems and interfaces.
• Lead radar processing algorithm development and software requirements definition.
• Perform statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data and create analysis tools.
• Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to implement solutions and present findings.
