Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar integration for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on systems engineering, radar performance, signal processing, and lifecycle integration.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of experience, strong requirements and interface documentation skills, and familiarity with MBSE tools. An active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required. Some travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and Navy yards is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities including requirements development, specification management, systems integration, and design verification.
• Experience supporting radar systems, sensor technologies, Navy combat systems, or other complex defense systems is preferred.
• Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess system performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and analyzing performance data.

Responsibilities

• Engineering support to determine radar concepts and evaluate feasibility of integrating SPY-6 on foreign ships.
• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
