Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Principal Radar Software Engineer to lead development of radar signal processing software in Agoura Hills, CA. You will collaborate with algorithm teams to implement, test, and deploy real-time radar processing for automotive applications.

The role requires deep embedded software experience, Matlab and C++, and proficiency in parallel processing, multi-threading, and radar data visualization. You will support global teams and drive DevOps tooling and data workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
10+ years hands-on experience in embedded software development and radar signal processing.
Experience with Matlab and C++ for prototype radar signal processing.
Strong debugging, optimization, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Create, deploy and maintain radar signal-processing software and tools.
Support radar teams in deploying algorithms in prototype systems.
Manage and develop DevOps tools for projects.
Manage Matlab-based radar signal-processing tools for internal customers.
Design rapid-prototyping systems with real-time radar algorithms, logging and visualization.
Take ownership of software libraries and tools used by global Aptiv teams.
