Job summary

HRL Laboratories is seeking a highly qualified Radar Systems Engineer to collaborate with scientists and engineers on software and architectures for radar systems in a fast-paced environment.

You will contribute to invention disclosures, publish papers, brief customers, and participate in proposals, while applying embedded software development and MATLAB-based data analysis for real-time radar applications.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with extensive radar systems engineering experience.
• Strong radar systems expertise with emphasis on software development & algorithms.
• 5+ years in software development including embedded systems and agile lifecycle.
• Proficient use of MATLAB for radar data analysis.
• Experience in system design, architecture, and algorithm development.
• Experience with system engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop software/architectures for radar systems.
• Address customer problems and contribute invention disclosures.
• Publish papers, brief customers, assist in proposals and market HRL expertise.
