Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks an experienced staff-level engineer to lead the Component Product Realization Team (PRT) within the Advanced Fuzing Technologies Group. You will drive delivery of high-rigor flight components critical to safety and security of the nation, collaborating with cross-functional engineering and research teams across NSE and the DoW.

You will guide milestones, field high-integrity products, and lead problem resolution with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five years of directly relevant experience.
• Active DOE Q clearance, or equivalent, is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff and technologists towards milestones for safety critical components.
• Field high-integrity products meeting technical and programmatic requirements.
• Lead resolution of ambiguous problems with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Maintain design intent through requirements negotiation and trade studies.
• Lead investigations and resolution of anomalies through analysis and testing.
• Present your work to peers, customers, and management in formal and informal settings.
• Use project management skills to provide structure to the team’s activity level work.
