Job summary

OptumCare Nevada seeks a Nevada IPA Network Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for the IPA network across the Nevada market. You will partner with physicians, practices and cross-functional teams to improve quality, affordability, access, provider experience, and patient experience.

The role involves regular travel within Nevada, developing value-based care strategies, and driving performance through education and collaboration with IPA offices and specialty networks.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active Nevada license and board certification.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice with significant outpatient experience.
• Willingness to travel across the Nevada market.
• Strong communication and collaboration with physicians and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for the Nevada IPA network.
• Partner with physicians, practices and market teams to drive performance.
• Develop and execute value-based care strategies across the network.
• Travel within Nevada to build relationships and support implementation.
• Coach and mentor clinicians on quality, risk adjustment, patient experience, and affordability.
