Job summary

Renown Health, in partnership with Kaiser Permanente, seeks a Director of Value Based Care to drive care transformation and strategic growth in Northern Nevada. You will lead the Value-Based Care Model, oversee operations, and manage programs that optimize quality and cost outcomes.

The role requires deep expertise in value-based care, healthcare data management, and cross-functional leadership, with a focus on stakeholder collaboration and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Healthcare, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; MBA, MHA, MPH preferred
• Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience within a healthcare organization
• Minimum five (5) years of experience with healthcare technology and data management
• Deep understanding of value-based care and healthcare industry trends
• Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the Value-Based Care Model by codifying and implementing clinical best practices.
• Oversee daily clinical and business operations of assigned departments; supervise staff and clinicians.
• Manage value-based programs including Comprehensive Health Assessments, Outreach, Wellness, Primary Care at Home, Chronic Care Management, and Transitional Care Management.
• Drive clinical and cost performance indicators; align practice to success measures.
• Develop budgets and review dashboards for clinician performance, population health, quality, safety, and cost.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders, partners, and data teams to integrate analytics into workflows.
• Champion service excellence by reviewing patient feedback and ensuring high-quality care.
