Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector / Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Engineer to enforce processes across the CHGB portfolio and develop solutions for complex technical issues. You will communicate with internal and client teams, review drawings, and manage non-conformances and RCCA activities to ensure compliant deliveries.

The role requires a BS or MS with substantial experience in ISO9001/AS9100/AS6500 environments, willingness to travel, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 8–12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6–10 years of prior relevant experience
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100/AS6500 manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce processes across the CHGB portfolio
• Develop solutions to complex technical issues affecting multiple areas
• Communicate with internal team members and client teams
• Write Non-conformances and complete RCCA activities
• Review and approve assembly instructions and procurement requisitions
