Job summary

The candidate will engage in program quality planning, process development, and supplier surveillance, coordinating with government QA agencies. A collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.
• Proficient in GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009.
• Experience with non-conforming material, failure analysis, root cause, and corrective action.
• Experience writing work instructions and QMS documentation (AS9100).
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan program quality and QA requirements for aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• Develop inspection/test procedures and process plans; finalize source inspection checklists.
• Review AS9102 FAI documentation and support audits with DCMA and other agencies.
• Coordinate nonconformance documentation and implement root-cause/corrective actions.
• Support APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA and supplier surveillance activities.
