Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector seeks a Program Quality Engineer to act as the quality engineering focal point for assigned programs, driving quality plans and continuous improvement across manufacturing and suppliers. The role involves FAI, supplier part approvals, and data-driven quality management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the quality engineering point of contact for assigned programs and support problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain program quality plans and quality requirement flowdown from contracts to manufacturing and suppliers.
• Execute and disposition First Article Inspections (FAI/AS9102) and supplier part approvals.
• Lead root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving to identify effective corrective actions.
• Interact with customers to identify quality improvement opportunities and close feedback loops with manufacturing and development.
