Job summary

Leidos is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer in the Huntsville, AL area to maintain and enforce CHGB portfolio processes. You will develop solutions to complex technical issues, communicate across teams and customers, and drive FAI and RCCA activities.

Required are a BS with 8–12 years (or MS with 6–10 years), proficiency in reading drawings, and experience in ISO9001/AS9100/AS6500 environments. Travel to customer sites and a Secret clearance are expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 8–12 years of experience or MS with 6–10 years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience in ISO9001/AS9100/AS6500 manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites; US citizenship with ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains enforcing processes across the CHGB portfolio.
• Develops solutions to complex technical issues impacting multiple areas.
• Communicates with internal and client teams; may interface with customers.
• Performs FAI process implementation and verification.
• Reviews and approves assembly instructions and procurement requisitions.
• Verifies data requirements for the PM team; reads drawings and data packages.
• Writes non-conformances and completes RCCA activities; reviews others' RCCAs.
• Interfaces with Government and PM customers to ensure product compliance.
• Completes CDRL data deliveries; performs other duties as assigned.
