Pilgrim in Omaha, NE is seeking a Quality Assurance & Food Safety supervisor to lead the QA team and ensure adherence to HACCP, GMPs, and SSOPs. You will coordinate sanitation, monitor yield, and liaise with USDA to maintain regulatory compliance while developing staff.

The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with willingness to travel up to 25% to support operations as needed in a Meat/Food processing environment.

Formación

• Minimum 1-2 years Meat/Food Industry experience.
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Operations team to ensure all programs are being followed.
• Coordinate and supervise pre-operation sanitation, examining and verifying the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and facilities daily.
• Act as a liaison between the company and the USDA to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Train and monitor employees for adherence to SOPs, SSOPs and GMPs.
• Maintain acceptable yield levels on all products.
• Perform daily safety walks and correct any non-compliance issues.
• Supervise QA Technicians and foster growth and development.
• Coordinate efforts of other facility departments to optimize performance.
