Pilgrim’s is hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our FSQA team on the assigned shift, ensuring the proper execution of food safety and quality programs. This role oversees product specification testing and daily quality procedures, partnering with operations to sustain high standards.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in poultry processing, knowledge of USDA/OSHA regulations, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred; or 3 years related experience and/or training.
• GFSI (BRC) training preferred.
• Supervisory experience required, preferably in poultry processing or slaughter operations; understands USDA/OSHA regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Responsabilités

• Lead FSQA team activities and ensure proper implementation of food safety and quality programs (HACCP, SSOP).
• Promote safety and compliance, coordinate training (e.g., LOTO) and report unsafe acts.
• Communicate and train staff on quality procedures; provide classroom and hands-on training.
• Collaborate with operations and USDA personnel to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Support issue resolution through root cause analysis and ensure customer quality programs are followed.
• Manage hourly QA technicians, including scheduling and timekeeping using Kronos, and complete tasks from QA leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
