Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Quality Assurance & Food Safety Supervisor to lead the FSQA team on the assigned shift, ensuring HACCP, SSOP, and regulatory compliance. This role oversees product specification testing, training, and daily quality program execution within a poultry processing environment.

You will manage hourly QA technicians, coordinate scheduling in Kronos, and partner with operations and USDA personnel to uphold safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in poultry processing or slaughter operations.
• Understanding of USDA and OSHA regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA team activities and implement food safety and quality programs.
• Coordinate training (e.g., LOTO) and report unsafe acts.
• Collaborate with operations and USDA personnel to ensure compliance.
• Oversee QA technicians scheduling and timekeeping in Kronos.
• Support issue resolution through root cause analysis.
