Job summary

IBM Consulting invites applicants for a QA Engineer Lead – Guidewire role. You will design and execute testing for applications built with Guidewire packages, leveraging automation and manual methods to ensure high-quality results.

Deep knowledge of Guidewire workflows, GT-UI, and a strong testing background are essential. The position supports hybrid work in the United States with a focus on QA strategy, test planning, execution, and continuous improvement across CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of QA automation and software testing experience stated in the HTML.
• Strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter with automation.
• Hands-on with Playwright, WebDriverIO, Selenium and Cucumber BDD.
• Experience in API and performance testing with Postman, Karate and JMeter.
• Proficiency with CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins and GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Design Optimized Test Scenarios to ensure thorough testing.
• Plan Testing Activities; estimate effort and coordinate tasks.
• Execute Test Cases using automation and manual methods.
• Analyze Test Outcomes and identify improvements.
• Report Test Status to stakeholders and maintain quality.
