Job summary

LTM in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Specialist - Package Implementation to lead the test automation effort for web applications. You will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks, execute tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery quality.

The role emphasizes translating business needs into test strategy, proactive risk communication, and exploring AI-assisted QA methods to improve coverage and release readiness.

Qualifications

  • 9 years of dedicated software quality assurance experience with at least 2 - 3 years focused on test automation.
  • Hands-on experience testing Guidewire implementations upgrades or PC insurance workflows
  • Strong experience with at least two test automation frameworks e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit
  • Strong analytical problem solving and debugging skills
  • Agile experience with tools such as JIRA

Responsibilities

  • Lead test automation effort from the ground up
  • Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and easily maintainable test scripts for primarily web applications with potential expansions into other platforms
  • Execute automated and manual test cases to validate functionality, regression, integration and performance
  • Understanding the needs of our customers both insureds and agents and being a proactive advocate for their Berkley One brand experience
  • Ability to translate business requirements into executable test strategy and clearly communicate risk to others in the organization
  • Incorporate AI into QA Automation process where applicable
  • Perform exploratory testing and identify edge cases not covered by automation
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics, test coverage and release readiness
  • Continuously identify and articulate process improvement recommendations that will increase quality and/or efficiency and keep to best practices

Required Qualifications, Skills And Experience
  • 9 years of dedicated software quality assurance experience with at least 2 - 3 years focused on test automation

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry personal lines preferred policy claim administration systems ex Guidewires InsuranceNow reinsurance insurance billing
  • Hands on experience testing Guidewire InsuranceNow implementations upgrades or PC insurance workflows
  • SQL experience Database knowledge writing SQL queries for backend data validation
  • Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure Knowledge of performance testing tools like K6 or JMeter
  • Familiarity with AI assisted productivity tools for test case generation and optimization
