Job summary

Exavalu Solutions India Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Test Lead with strong Guidewire testing, automation testing, and API testing to lead QA activities for insurance applications. The candidate will define the test strategy, lead test execution, drive automation, and work closely with business, development, and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter, plus hands-on UI and API

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software testing experience.
• Strong experience in Guidewire testing, preferably PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and/or BillingCenter.
• Hands-on test automation using Java + Selenium/Playwright or similar tools.
• REST API testing with tools like Rest Assured, Postman or Karate.
• SQL and database validation.
• Experience leading QA teams and test execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA activities across Guidewire-based applications.
• Define and implement test strategy, plans and execution approach.
• Lead functional, integration, regression, system integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Provide technical leadership for the test automation framework and strategy.
• Design and develop automated test scripts using Java with Selenium/Playwright.
• Design and execute REST API testing using REST Assured, Postman or Karate.
• Mentor QA engineers and review tests and automation scripts.
• Coordinate with developers, BA, PO and client stakeholders.
• Track QA metrics and provide sign-off for releases.
