Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks a QA Engineer Lead - Guideware to design and execute tests for Guideware-based applications. You will lead testing strategy, plan activities, and manage defects while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will apply expertise in Guidewire workflows, automation tools like Playwright and Selenium, and API testing to ensure high quality releases across projects. This role supports remote work from anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 15 years of QA automation and software testing experience with leadership in QA strategy and release governance.
• Strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter including GT-UI automation.
• Hands-on with Playwright, WebDriverIO, Selenium, and Cucumber BDD; API/performance testing with Postman, Karate, JMeter.

Responsibilities

• Design optimized test scenarios and identify environment/data requirements.
• Plan testing activities and coordinate tasks to meet timelines.
• Execute test cases using automation and manual methods; report status and defects.
• Analyze test outcomes and drive process improvements.
