Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Guidewire QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, test automation, and API testing. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust testing strategies.

You will work with cross-functional teams, align automation with requirements, and contribute to expanding the automation regression suite while supporting CI/CD initiatives and QA metrics reporting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Guidewire functional and automation testing.
• Minimum 2 years on Guidewire PolicyCenter projects.
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance processes.
• Experience with UI, API, and integration testing.
• Proficient in TypeScript-based automation tooling.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with QA lifecycle and defect tracking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute in-sprint automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Align automation scripts with user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
• Execute automated tests, log defects with steps to reproduce, and support triage.
• Create and maintain reusable automation assets for regression testing.
• Contribute to and enhance the automation regression suite.
• Prepare RTM, manage test data and environments, and automation configurations.
• Support manual testing activities as needed and report QA metrics.
• Participate in test reviews and automation best-practice initiatives.
