Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Principal - Software Test to shape the end-to-end testing strategy for mobile and web applications in the Finance & Insurance space. You will lead automation initiatives, contribute hands-on testing, and partner with developers and stakeholders to strengthen validation across functional, regression, accessibility, performance, and security testing.

Qualifications

• 4 years of software testing experience for web and mobile applications.
• 4 years in an Agile development environment.
• 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• 2 years of experience with test automation frameworks like Appium, Maestro, or Cypress.
• 2 years of Python and JavaScript for automated test scripts.
• 1 year of leading QA initiatives and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end testing strategy for timely delivery and reduced post-release defects.
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests for mobile and web apps using Python/JavaScript.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks for mobile and web apps (Appium, Maestro, Cypress).
• Utilize device clouds for testing across devices and browsers.
• Promote Agile testing practices and continuous improvement.
• Perform hands-on testing including functional, regression, accessibility, performance, and security testing.
