Job summary

Atomic HR is seeking a senior QA/Test engineer to lead automation across API, web and integration layers. You will own testing strategy, build end-to-end journeys, and work closely with delivery teams to ensure features meet the defined quality bar.

You’ll test across browsers, APIs, and external systems, seed realistic data, and help fix security issues to protect customer data in a remote, fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality, test or software engineering, with automation you wrote yourself, running in CI and kept by other engineers.
• Strong test code in Python or TypeScript across API, browser and pipeline, including headless browser runs and integration tests for failing dependencies.
• Experience as the only quality person across several teams, setting your own priorities with no backlog handed to you.

Responsibilities

• Own the test strategy and automation for releases.
• Build end-to-end journeys and a smoke suite for every build; run integration tests.
• Test web app, services and APIs across browsers and check customer configurations.
• Seed realistic test data; help find and fix security vulnerabilities in the app.
