Job summary

HDR is seeking a Pump Stations and Pipelines Project Manager to lead planning, directing, and monitoring conveyance and pipeline projects, asset management, or pump station projects. You will manage engineering design, project coordination, write specifications, plan work, and coordinate with owners and clients while ensuring on-schedule and within-budget delivery.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, mentorship, and business development across projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional licensure (PE or equivalent) is preferred.
• 20+ years in planning, design, project engineering, and construction.
• Experience with pump station and pipeline projects and BD/strategic planning.
• Hydraulic modeling software experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and monitor conveyance and pipeline projects and asset management.
• Lead engineering design, project coordination, and prepare specifications.
• Coordinate with owners and clients; establish design methods and budgets.
• Lead marketing, contractual, design and production meetings; participate in BD.
• Produce QA/QC procedures and mentor less experienced staff.
• Support recruitment and actively participate in the employee-owned culture.
