Job summary

HDR is seeking a proactive Business Class Lead to direct pump station and pipeline projects within the Mid-Atlantic Water Business Group. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex scopes, coordinating with structural, geotechnical, civil, mechanical, CADD and GIS specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years of experience.
• Committed to quality, HDR values.
• Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience.
• Experienced in development and management of diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and oversee all aspects of large-scale multi-discipline and multi-benefit projects with a high degree of technical complexity.
• Build and maintain client relations and participate in project development and contract document preparation.
• Work with senior, mid- and junior-level staff across a variety of disciplines.
• Coordinate projects with inter-related disciplines such as structural, geology, geotechnical, civil, mechanical, CADD and GIS.
• Participate in and provide oversight of a variety of project types including planning, design, inspection and construction management of pump station and pipelines and general site civil of major water, wastewater and reclaimed water infrastructure.
• Coordinate projects with HDR’s other regional and national business class technical leads and advisors.
• As a Business Class Lead, participate in corporate management of the pump station and pipeline business class program.
